Bankz is an information and comparison service operated by Upcapital Global FZCO (the data controller). We help you research, compare and select banking products. We are not a bank and we do not move your money. For any privacy request, contact ceo@theupcapital.com.

• Account details you give us: your email, a password, and optionally your name. We verify your email with an activation link before the account works. Your password is stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text.
• Your banking profile: the details you choose to add (such as entity type, home country, revenue band) so recommendations fit you and future applications pre-fill.
• Alert preferences: the countries, banks and change types you choose to follow.
• A session cookie (bz_sid), strictly necessary to keep you signed in and hold your profile.
• Privacy-light analytics, only with your consent: the page path and a country derived from your connection. We do not store your raw IP address, and we use no advertising trackers.

To provide the service you asked for (performance of a contract): running your account, profile, comparisons and introductions. With your consent: analytics cookies and alert emails, each of which you can withdraw at any time. For our legitimate interest in improving and securing the service, balanced against your rights.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when you ask us to (for example, when you request an introduction to a specific institution, we share the exact fields you approve, and we show you those fields first). We use a small number of processors to run the service, including our database host and our transactional email provider, bound by data-processing terms.

We operate from the United Arab Emirates and use reputable service providers that may process data in other regions. Where data leaves your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under the GDPR and the UAE PDPL.

We keep your account data while your account is active. Verification codes expire within minutes. If you delete your account, we erase your profile, alert subscriptions and waitlist entries. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained.

Under the GDPR and the UAE PDPL you can access, correct, export, restrict or erase your data, and withdraw consent at any time. You can act on the main rights right here:
